Aaron Horwitz, Jewish mayor of Cornwall, has been elected to this office for the fourth consecutive term by acclamation.
Mayor Horwitz desired to relinquish his office upon the expiration of his last term but was persuaded to be a candidate for re-election. The unwritten law which does not permit a single incumbent to occupy the office for more than two consecutive terms, has been abrogated for Mayor Horwitz.
