About 1000 people protesting against persecution of Jews in the Soviet Union and calling for freedom for Soviet Jews marched last Thursday night. The demonstrators accused the Soviet Union of floating the Helsinki accords. United Nations resolutions, and democratic principles recognized in the Soviet Constitution by denying Jews the right to exercise their most elementary rights. The demonstration was organized by the Jewish Revival Movement and received the support of all other Jewish groups.
