Abraham Goodman, vice-president of the Zionist Organization of America, has accepted the national chairmanship for the ZOA’s participation in Israel’s Redemption Month, the one month campaign to convert into cash sales all outstanding commitments to purchase State of Israel Bonds. The drive concludes on Israel’s fifth anniversary on April 20.
Mrs. Franklin D. Roosevelt, Mayor Vincent R. Impellitteri, and Henry Morgenthau, Jr., have been named honorary chairman of the fifth anniversary celebrations to be held throughout New York City on April 20. The anniversary program will be presented in nine theatres in various parts of the city.
