Five hundred American and Canadian tourists attended the second seder given by the American-Canadian Histadrut Center at the Farband Hamlin House here. Alexander Katz, director of Hamlin House, presided, and Isaac Hamlin, the American Histadrut representative, extended greetings to Soviet Jewry. He expressed the hope that the Jews in the Soviet Union would ultimately secure rights for a full cultural life.

Mr. Katz read a message from Dr. Sol Stein and Israel Stolarsky, leaders of the American Histadrut campaign. The entire audience applauded a message from the second seder to the "third seder" to be held by Histadrut in New York, this Saturday evening. An empty chair was left at the seder for Russian Jewry, and tribute was paid to the partisans and fighters of the ghettoes of the period of Nazi wartime occupation of Europe.
