The American Friends of Histadrut, marking the organization’s Golden Jubilee, resolved last night to urge the United States government to sell Israel its requested 125 additional jets immediately. They said that only American military and political aid to Israel can insure a lasting Middle East peace. They also called on Washington to warn the Soviet Union that Kremlin control of the Mideast will not be permitted. The convention was addressed yesterday by Minister-Without-Portfolio Shimon Peres and Gen. Aharon Yariv, Chief of Intelligence.
