An elderly Jewish woman is suing Hungary for the return of Nazi-looted masterpieces now held by Budapest museums. “The Hungarian government has reneged on all their promises to right this wrong,” said Martha Nierenberg, the granddaughter of Baron Maurice Herzog. “They seem to believe that they can detain my family’s works of art, which have become the last prisoners of World War II.”
