An evangelical Christian group wants to join a U.S. court case challenging the Air Force Academy’s alleged Christian climate. The National Association of Evangelicals petitioned the court Wednesday to intervene in the Air Force’s defense of a lawsuit brought by Michael “Mikey” Weinstein, a Jewish Air Force veteran who claims the military imposes Christianity on its recruits.
