A meeting of the Railways, Posts, Telegraphs and Telephone workers of the Jaffa-Ludd District, was held at Tel Aviv. Most of those present were Arabs.

Mr. Negerberg reported on the work of the Association. Ahmer Haj Namer spoke of the work of the Arab paper. “Ittihad Al Umal”, which was doing much to effect an understanding between Jews and Arabs. A number of Arab workers spoke, and the closing speech was delivered in Arabic by Dr. Malul, editor of the “Ittihad Al Umal”, who urged cooperation between Jews and Arabs. A resolution to this effect was adopted, special stress being laid upon the proposed cooperation of Arab and Jewish railwaymen.
