A request that the Palestine government protect the interests abroad of Arabs who emigrated from the country was made to E. Mills, Acting Chief Secretary, by a deputation of Bethlehem Arabs.
Mr. Mills told the deputation that the emigrants must apply for Palestinian nationality, so that the British representatives abroad should be able to take them under their charge. They are now said to be Ottomans, and applications must be made to the Turkish consular officers.
