The Arab press is continuing to wage a vigorous anti-Zionist campaign on the basis of the Palestine planks incorporated into the platforms of the Democratic and Republican parties.
Al Ahram, largest Arab newspaper in the world, writes that a union of Arab states “can throttle any plans” to make Palestine a Jewish state. The projected meeting of Arab states should make clear, the paper adds, that the Arab governments would consider the formation of a Jewish state in Palestine an ininical gesture and are ready to back the Palestine Arabs “in their desire to hold onto their land.”
