The Arab states at the United Nations have demanded that a new attempt to internationalize Jerusalem be made, in a resolution circulated among U.N. delegates last night.
The document also requests that the U.N. Palestine Conciliation Commission membership be increased from three states to seven and that the body’s headquarters be transferred to Jerusalem. It also asks for a strong reaffirmation of the commission’s role in promoting the repatriation of Palestine Arab refugees.
