Ariel Sharon hinted that upcoming withdrawals from the Gaza Strip and northern West Bank could be postponed by several weeks. Controversy over the scheduling of the withdrawal plan, slated to begin July 20, surfaced this week when it became clear that it would clash with the traditional three-week mourning period leading up to Tisha B’Av, which falls this year on Aug. 14.
