Election of Benjamin R. Epstein of New York as national director of the Anti-Defamation League of B’nai B’rith was announced today by State Supreme Court Justice Meier Steinbrink, national chairman of the organization. Mr. Epstein succeeds Richard E. Gutstadt of Chicago, who held the post for 15 years and who has been elected executive vice-chairman of the League. Mr. Gutstadt has been on a leave of absence since May because of ill health.
