The Berlin association of retail clothiers today is sued a circular to all its Jewish members advising them to behave with the greatest tact and not to decorate their shop windows with Christmas symbols of the Christian religion. The circular stressed the fact that in spite of the instructions of the Minister of Economics, Dr. Kurt Schmitt, it was necessary for Jewish clothing merchants to behave with the utmost circumspection.
