Britain Queries U.S. on Visa Regulations, Citing Refugees Given Temporary Asylum

The British Government, through usual diplomatic channels, has approached Washington for elucidation of the terms of the new U.S. immigration regulations banning entry of refugees with close relatives in occupied countries, it was learned today.

It was authoritatively explained that the British Government takes great interest in this matter since it affects thousands of refugees who were admitted to Britain only temporarily to await their turn for remigration to the U.S.
