Emulating the successful Zionist fund-raising activities in the United States, the British Zionists have decided to launch a “United Palestine Appeal” at the beginning of next fiscal year, it was announced here today.
The proposal was made by the Jewish National Fund at a joint meeting with the Keren Hayesod yesterday. while it was considered impractical to attempt to initiate such an Appeal this year, the meeting decided to set up a joint committee to make a detailed study of the possibilities of creating a United Appeal for the coming financial year.
