Zionist parties in Great Britain have agreed on a single slate of delegates to the forthcoming 21st biennial World Zionist Congress in Geneva, it was announced today, deciding against holding of elections “in view of the grave crisis confronting the Zionist movement and the determination of all sections of the movement to combat the policy of the White Paper.” The Zionist Federation has been allotted eight of the 15 mandates, the Mizrachi Organization three, the Poale-Zion three and the Jewish State Party one. The single slate is headed by Simon Marks, Federation vice-president, Barnett Janner, former M.P. from Whitechapel, and the Marchioness of Reading.
