Buffalo Jewish Student Achieves Highest Scholastic Rating in 50 Years

Suzanne Elcom, a student at Kenmore West Senior High School, had achieved the highest, three-year grade average of any other student in the school’s 50-year history, it was announced by the principal of the school, Raymond S. Frazier.

Miss Bloom’s average was 98.3. It is “the highest scholastic rating of any student during the past half-century,” said Mr. Frazier. Miss Bloom was elected valedictorian of her class. In addition to her school work and extra-curricular work at the high school, Miss Bloom is also active in youth work at Temple Emanu-El, and tutors younger students in Hebrew.
