National democratic elections for the American Jewish Congress will be held next April 28 in every section of the United States where there is a Jewish community, it was announced yesterday by Bernard S. Deutsch, president of the organization.
The date has been set by the administrative committee and has been arranged in order to permit sufficient time for the organization of the Jewish communities for the elections. Originally the elections were scheduled to be held at the end of 1934.
