The Canadian Government has begun a five broadcast series of French-language explanations of the aims of the government in eliminating discrimination in employment and other fields.
The French-language series, which ends December 21, came after a program of eight English-language broadcasts which were carried over 80 stations in all parts of the country. The 15-minute discussions–by a college professor, an actor, a government representative, a labor leader and a Jewish community leader–deal with the anti-discrimination law, what discrimination costs the country at home and abroad, and other aspects of the problem.
