In order to prove that the “Protocols,” which the Nazis and other anti-Semites are utilizing in their propaganda against the Jews, is a rank forgery, the Federation will ask the court to clarify through experts the following questions:
1. Is it true, as the forged “Protocols” claim, that the program of the first Zionist Congress held in Basle in 1897 provides for Jewish domination the world over, or only for the creation of a Jewish National Home in Palestine?
2. Is it true that Achad Haam, Zionist leader and theoritician, is the author of the notorious “Protocols” as the Nazis claim?
3. Is it not true that the first Zionist Congress took place openly and held no secret sessions?
4. Is it not true that the “Protocols” are in many parts a copy of a book issued by a Frenchman, Maurice Jolley, in 1864, years before the first Zionist Congress took place?
Fourteen other questions which aim to establish the forgery of the “Protocols” and to bring out the fact that they are the creation of a Russian anti-Semitic journalist under the Czarist regime, have been presented by the Federation to the court in Berne to be submitted to the experts at the trial.
The trial is scheduled to end May 4, and it is expected that the verdict will once and forever establish the falsity of the “Protocols” which have been used by anti-Semites all over the world as basis for their anti-Jewish propaganda.
