The Combined Jewish Appeal of Montreal has adopted a 1950-51 goal of $1,046,000 as compared to its last year’s goal of $976,000.
The figure was set at a pre-campaign dinner here at which Dr. Israel Goldstein, chairman of the Western Hemisphere executive of the World Jewish Congress, was the featured speaker and Samuel Bronfman, president of the Canadian Jewish Congress, presided. The Appeal campaign opens November 2.
