Creation of a League of Arab Nations seems a good deal closer following the visit of King Farouk to Ibn Saud, ruler of Saudi Arabia. According to the Egyptain Minister for Arab Affairs, Abdul Rahman Azzam Bey, who accompanied Farouk and participated in the conversations, the visit did more to avoid future obstacles than previous official talks.
It is expected here that as a result of the talks, a conference of Arab Foreign Ministers will meet here within a fortnight and creation of the Arab league will probably be accomplised within a month after that. Palestine will undoubtedly be represented at this meeting, although unofficially, since if the various Arab states are agreed on any one issue, it is the palestine question.
