A demand that Jassy University be renamed Cuza University in honor of Jan Cuza, first king of the United Roumanian principalities, is being made by followers of Alexander Cuza, anti-Semitic leader, who was recently pensioned off by the government.

The followers of the anti-Semitic leader are making the demand in the belief that propaganda for Cuza and his policy will be furthered by the change in the name of the university, due to the fact that his name is the same as that of the former King ?n.
