Mass resignation of Jewish directors of Dutch companies, in connection with anti-Jewish decrees of the Nazi occupation authorities, is creating a major organizational problem for Holland’s economy, according to information received in Dutch circles here today.
Many companies were compelled to call extraordinary meetings to select new directors. Dutch shareholders in many cases did not attend the meetings, thereby showing their disgust with the anti-Jewish measures. In nearly every instance convocation of a second meeting was necessary to obtain a quorum.
