Dr. Nahum Goldmann, president of the Jewish Agency, returned to the United States today, following an absence of several months during which he conducted important activities in Israel and in various European countries, including talks with West German Chancellor Konrad Adenauer on speeding the process of indemnification for individual claims by Nazi victims.
Prior to his arrival in the United States, Dr. Goldmann held important conferences in London and in Paris on various problems concerning Jewish interests. Earlier he conducted the world assembly of the World Jewish Congress, which was held in Stockholm, and of which he is the president.
