Dr. Robert Gordis Appointed Editor of ‘judaism’

Dr. Robert Gordis, an author and teacher in the field of Jewish affairs has been appointed editor of Judaism, a quarterly of Jewish religious life and thought published by the American Jewish Congress. Announcement of his appointment was made jointly by Rabbi Arthur J. Lelyveld of Cleveland, president of the AJ Congress, and Rabbi David Wolf Silverman, director of special education at the Jewish Theological Seminary.
