The Polish authorities have ordered the Revisionist Ex-Service Men’s Organization to drop the use of military terminology and titles which give it a military character.
The Revisionist organization, known as the Brith Hachayal, announced today that they will proceed to make the necessary changes and eliminate the words “commander,” “platoon,” and other military terms.
A campaign against the Brith Hachayal has been conducted in Poland for some time by anti-Semitic organizations in the country. Complaints were made that the Brith Hachayal is a semi-military organization “which constitutes a nucleus for an international Jewish army.” Anti-Semitic spokesmen in the Polish Parliament have also complained that the Jewish youths trained in the Brith Hachayal ranks attack Polish youths as self-defense units whenever such self-defense is necessary.
