The Bentwich outrage seems to have had a sobering effect on the Arabs in addition to their emphatic dissociation from the crime as announced by their counsel before the Inquiry Commission. Many similar expressions of abhorrence and sympathy have been forthcoming from Arab quarters.
Signs are not wanting that the Arabs are repenting their intransigence and incitement.
