Florida’s secretary of state considers the biblical Queen Esther one of her role models, according to The Washington Post. The newspaper reported that during the presidential vote-counting controversy this winter, Katherine Harris repeatedly told her staff that, like Esther, she was endangering herself and her reputation for a good cause.
