Polish police have arrested Napoleon Piasecki, former assistant chairman of the district People’s Council of Posen, on charges of having participated in the murder of Jews during the Nazi occupation of Poland, it was reported here today.
Piasecki was charged with being a member of the German police in the town of Pleszczanica where he shot and tortured Polish Jews.
