Four important Detroit institutions will benefit from an insurance trust fund which was established before his death by the late Abraham Cohen.
Fearful lest he should be unable to pay the balance of his $7,500 pledge he made two years ago to Congregation Shaarey Zedek, he consulted his attorney, Morris Garvett, and upon Mr. Garvett’s advice created an insurance trust by assigning an insurance policy for this purpose.
The following organizations will benefit: Congregation Shaarey Zedek, $5,000, and an additional $100 for a light on the Yahrzeit tablet; Clover Hill Park Cemetery, $1,000; United Hebrew Schools, $1,000; Jewish Children’s Home, $1,000, for a suitable memorial to be known as the Grace Cohen Warren Memorial, the character of which is to be decided upon by the board of the home.
