A group of 49 displaced Jews who last week were turned back at the French border by frontier guards while en route to various ports in France from where they had hoped to set sail for South America, today learned that their transit documents have been cleared by French authorities and they are scheduled to leave once again tomorrow night.
The Jews had feared that the delay caused by their being returned from the French frontier would upset sailing schedules, but they were informed today that in any case they would have had to wait in Paris for a long period before passage is available for them.
