Funeral services for Isador Segal, 85, retired lawyer, active in Jewish art and literary groups, who died Saturday, were held yesterday.
Mr. Segal was a founder of the Jewish Daily Courier, the first Jewish paper in Chicago. He also was an organizer of the B. M. Z. Old People’s Home.
He died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. William Langert, 4730 Ellis avenue. His widow, Mollie, and a son, Dr. Charles Segal, also survive. Mr. Segal would have celebrated his sixtieth wedding anniversary on September 14.
