Dr. Moses Garber, chief in Obstetrics at Mt. Sinai Hospital, was elected Chairman of the Obstetrical and Gynecological Section of the Cleveland Academy of Medicine. Dr. Garber recently received the degree of Fellow in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Congress of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Garber is an active Zionist and Hebraist. He was one of the directors of the Cleveland Hebrew School and took a keen interest in Jewish education. He is one of the outstanding intellectual Zionists in the city and was chairman of the Keren Hayesod Committee when the Keren Hayesod was organized in 1921 and under his leadership the distinguished scientist, Dr. Albert Einstein, and Zionist leader, Dr. Chaim Weizmann were brought to Cleveland.
