Golda Meir’s first home in Israel will be opened to the public. Ha’aretz reported that the room in Kibbutz Merhavia until recently was used as a beauty salon. Historians recently rebuilt it to resemble the Israeli prime minister’s home when she immigrated in 1921 with her family, originally named Meyerson.
