The Orthodox Synod of the Greek Catholic Church, which was proposed by the Greek Patriarch of Jerusalem to be held in Jerusalem this year, has been postponed until next year. The postponement is due to the fact that many difficulties presented themselves during the completion of the list of questions to be submitted to the Synod.
A few of the questions which were to be discussed by the Synod were the changing of the calendar and the re-union of the churches. It was found necessary to thoroughly study these questions before submitting them to discussion.
