The festival of the Jewish students’ association, “Bar Kochba” was disturbed yesterday by a detachment of the Hakenkreuzler, who forced their way into the meeting place singing anti-Semitic songs.
In the evening, 40 of the “Kneupfel burschen,” youths who carry with them rubber-tipped whips for use on the Jews, attacked eight members of the Bar Kochba, wounding three seriously. The police intervened and arrested many of the anti-Semites. Two of them claimed that they had been attacked by the Jews.
