Remittances to Poland through the Hias (Hebrew Sheltering and Immigrant Aid Society) will be made in American Dollars. John L. Bernstein, president of the Hias, received a cablegram announcing that the Polish government had conceded to the Hias offices in Poland the right of paying the remittances in American dollars. The cablegram was signed, by Adolph Held, European representative of the Hias and E. W. Lewin-Epstein, European representative of the Remittance department.
