Chancellor Adolf Hitler, in a New Year’s order of the day to the Nazi forces in Berlin yesterday, declared that “the war must be continued as a result of the will of democratic warmongers and Jewish capitalists.”
“Protection of all racial and religious minorities in all countries” is one of the eight points of a program of “a working basis for a just peace” offered by Senator Burton K. Wheeler in a speech broadcast by NBC Monday night.
No mention of readjustment of the status of Jews and other minorities is made in a secret peace conference agenda assertedly forwarded to the United States Government by the Reich Government shortly after the invasion of Poland, it was revealed by Verne Marshall, chairman of the No Foreign War Committee, at a press conference Monday.
