A new settlement was dedicated today in memory of Leib Jaffe, diredtor of the Keren Hayesod, who was killed by an Arab bomb in the Jewish Agency building during the Arab-Jewish hostilities in Jerusalem. The settlers are all immigrants from Poland who, after spending several years in Nazi concentration camps, fought against the Nazis in the underground movement formed by Jews who succeeded in escaping from ghettos and Nazi death camps.
