Israeli Ambassador simcha Dinitz told delegates at the 48th national convention of the American Mizrachi Women that “any Arab leader who decides to launch another war will make a greater mistake than his predecessors in 1948 and 1956 and 1967. In this we are secure.” Dinitz asserted that Israel is “secure enough not only to win wars but we are secure enough to deter them. Our strength must always be at such an edge that we make war obsolete.” Referring to the current controversy over the oil and the energy crisis, Dinitz said that the United States will not allow itself to be blackmailed by Arab terrorists. Mrs. Louis Schreiber of Lawrence, N.Y., a former vice-president of the American Mizrachi Women, was elected president. She succeeds Mrs. Milton S. Jacobson of New York. The convention ended Thursday.
