Israeli President Ezer Weizman successfully underwent an operation in Jerusalem to remove his gall bladder. Weizman, 75, was conscious and feeling well after Tuesday’s surgery, according to a spokeswoman at Hadassah University Hospital in Ein Kerem. Weizman, who was hospitalized twice in recent months for gall bladder complications, is expected to return home by the end of the week.
