Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak convened his Security Cabinet to decide how Israel will respond to President Clinton’s proposal for an Israeli-Palestinian peace accord. Foreign Minister Shlomo Ben-Ami said he expects that both sides will respond to the proposals with a “Yes, but…,” seeking to make changes or receive clarifications.
