Jewish Youth Week, an annual project of the National Jewish Welfare Board-sponsored National Jewish Youth Conference, opened today. The week, which is being celebrated throughout the country, will seek to focus attention on the need for effective leadership training among Jewish youth and on youth activities.
The variety of events that will be staged during the Week include: leader-ship training institutes and seminars; Israeli Youth Conferences, Maccabiads, forums, culture festivals, youth conferences, radio programs, youth Sabbaths, exhibits of youth activities, fund-raising activities, socials, rallies and other special event.
