A demand that national Jewish bodies in the United States contribute to the budgets of Yiddish cultural institutions was voiced here last night at a conference arranged by the Congress for Jewish Culture which was attended by 40 prominent Jewish writers and journalists. The conference, presided over by Jacob Pat, heard extensive reports on the activities of the Congress and the needs of Jewish cultural institutions affiliated with it.
