The Jewish refugee community of Shanghai, numbering about 14,000 persons, turned out in force today to celebrate the forthcoming establishment of a Jewish State.
In the Hongkew slum district where most of the refugees, who came originally from Germany and Austria, live, the Revisionist youth organizations Betar and Brith Trumpeldor held a parade. V. Zoubitsky, chairman of the United Zionist Revisionists, speaking for all Zionist parties in the community, thanked the U.S. and the U.S.S.R. for their aid in achieving the partition decision at the U.N.
