The sum of $75,000 was recently transmitted to Palestine by the United Jewish Refugee and War Relief Agencies for relief purposes, it was announced here today. The money will be spent in nearby areas for the rescue of Jews from Axis Europe in a program developed by the American Joint Distribution Committee in conjunction with the Jewish Agency for Palestine, the announcement said.
