Memorial services will be conducted by the Jewish War Veterans of the United States next Sunday afternoon at Temple Beth-El. Emanuel Graf, 98-year-old Civil War veteran, of Buffalo; Joseph Blum, only Jewish survivor among the veterans of the Indian War; Col. De Costa, who was one of President Lincoln’s party at the Gettysburg services, and Col. Lowenstine, first American officer to receive a decoration for bravery in the World War, will be among those taking part in the services.
Mayer John P. O’Brien, Attorney General Bennett, Rabbi Lissman, and Col. Maurice Simmons will be among the speakers. A parade will precede the services which will be broadcast.
