Following the introduction of the Nuremberg Laws in Slovakia last week, an order was issued yesterday in Bratislava, capital of Slovakia, stating that all Jews and so-called half-Jews in the country must wear yellow armbands with the Shield of David painted on them. They must also yield their passports to the local authorities.
Simultaneously orders have been issued during the week-end instructing the Jewish population to immediately submit to the Slovakian authorities all radio sets, fishing and photographic equipment, telescopes and gramophone records.
